FIELD OF THE INVENTION [0001] This invention relates to the field of smart home technology, and in particular, to an intelligent sofa.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION [0002] Sofa plays an important role in human life, and people are accustomed to sit in a sofa and watch TV or rest for entertainment. Whereas, with high-speed development of internet, people also launch increasing demands on furniture in pursuit of higher life quality. As office work and family life become more intelligentized, smart home begins to go into office and family.
[0003] In order to facilitate a user to use in sitting, a conventional sofa includes a back cushion for supporting user’s back, a pedestal angularly connected with the back cushion for supporting user’s legs and hip, and handrails located on both sides of the pedestal for supporting user’s arms. In this case, the conventional sofa is used as only a comfortable chair. However, an intelligent sofa is added with some functions based on the conventional sofa, to confer multiple functions for use on the conventional sofa.
[0004] For example, in order to enable the conventional sofa to capably adjust its heights and angles for use, an adjustment mechanism is added to the existing sofa to adjust by itself a height of the pedestal or an angle between the back cushion and the pedestal of the sofa. However, in the adjustment process, the user may hardly detect whether there is a sufficient space around the sofa to lay down the backrest of the sofa, and have to actually operate such lay-down in practice. Also, the process of manually adjusting the sofa to be flat laid would be relatively cumbersome, thereby not facilitating the user’s use.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION [0005] This invention provides an intelligent sofa to solve the problem of cumbersome operations and undesirable experience in use of the existing sofa.
[0006] This invention provides an intelligent sofa, including: a back cushion, a pedestal and two handrails, wherein the back cushion is connected with the pedestal, and the handrails are located on opposite both sides of the pedestal respectively; characterized by further including: an extension pad, a controller and a drive assembly, wherein, the back cushion is angularly connected with the pedestal via an expansion link, and controlled to rotate along the pedestal by expansion and retraction of the expansion link, such that a surface of the back cushion is located on a same level as a surface of the pedestal;
the extension pad is connected with one end of the pedestal away from the back cushion, comprises several extension portions connected in sequence which can envelop the end of the pedestal away from the back cushion and is provided with an actuator for driving the extension pad to extend, such that a surface of the extension pad is located on a same level as the surface of the pedestal;
the extension pad has a movable end provided with a first distance sensor for detecting a distance between the extension pad and an obstacle, and the back cushion has a back portion with an upper end provided with a second distance sensor for detecting a distance between the back cushion and an obstacle, the first distance sensor and the second distance sensor being connected with input ends of the controller provided in an interior of the pedestal, respectively; and the input ends of the controller are connected with the drive assembly and alertors provided on sides of the handrails respectively for alerting according to an instruction of the controller; and the drive assembly is connected with the actuator and the expansion link respectively to drive the extension pad to expand and retract along the pedestal and drive the back cushion to rotate along the pedestal, respectively.

The intelligent sofa provided according to this invention can detect a distance between the sofa body and the obstacle by itself, and can perform transforming operations by itself without further need of manual adjustment operation by the user, thereby simplifying operations and improving experience.

[0013] Referring to FIGS. 1 and 2, an intelligent sofa provided according to an embodiment of this invention includes: a back cushion 1, a pedestal 2 and two handrails 3, wherein the back cushion 1 is connected with the pedestal 2, and the handrails 3 are located on opposite both sides of the pedestal 2, respectively. In order to improve applicability of the sofa, the intelligent sofa provided according to this embodiment further includes: an extension pad 4, a controller 5 and a drive assembly.
[0014] The back cushion 1 is angularly connected with the pedestal 2 via an expansion link 6, in that the back cushion 1 is connected with the pedestal 2 in a right angle or an obtuse angle to facilitate the user to sit. As for specific arrangement of right-angle or obtuse-angle connection in different angles, it can be set or adjusted as per user’s requirement for use.

A yet another electrical motor drives the actuator to extend, thereby driving the extension pad 4 to extend from a state enveloping one end of the pedestal 2 to a flat state, such that the extension pad 4 is parallel with the ground and level with the surface of the pedestal 2. At this time, after the above series of control procedures are completed, the intelligent sofa is transformed to a state of bed.
[0027] The above transformation procedures are performed simultaneously. Also, in order to simplify the operation procedures of the intelligent sofa, when the transformation operations are required to be performed simultaneously, the drive assembly can be arranged as an electrical motor, and the expansion link 6, the connecting shaft and the actuator are driven simultaneously by one electrical motor to perform the corresponding operations to simplify the structure of the intelligent sofa. Further, when the user is only intended to adjust an angle between the back cushion 1 and the pedestal 2, or only intended to extend the extension pad 4 instead of transforming the sofa to a bed, the instruction sent by the user would only be sent to the corresponding drive assembly by the controller 5. At this time, the drive assembly can consists of a plurality of the electrical motors, in that where any part of the sofa is required to be operated, the instruction would be sent to the corresponding electrical motor, such that use of the intelligent sofa provided according to this embodiment can be diversified.

An intelligent sofa comprising: a back cushion, a pedestal, and two handrails, wherein the back cushion is connected to the pedestal and the handrails are respectively located on both opposite sides of the pedestal; characterized by comprising: an extension piece, a control module and a drive assembly, wherein the back cushion is connected at an angle to the base via an expansion joint and is controlled to rotate along the base by expansion and retraction of the expansion connection, such that a surface of the back cushion is at the same level as a surface of the base;
the extension is connected to one end of the base away from the back cushion, includes several extension portions connected in series that can enclose the end of the base away from the back cushion and is provided with an actuator for driving the extension around itself to extend such that a surface of the extension is at the same level as the surface of the base;
the extension has a movable end which is provided with a first distance sensor for detecting a distance between the extension and an obstacle, and the back cushion has a back part with an upper end which is provided with a second distance sensor for detecting a distance between the back cushion and an obstacle, wherein the first distance sensor and the second distance sensor are connected to input ends of the control module provided in an interior of the base; and the input ends of the control module are connected to the drive assembly and provide alert makers (alertors) on sides of the handrails for alerting according to an instruction from the control module; and the drive assembly is connected to the actuator and the expansion joint to drive the extension to expand and retract along the base and to drive the back cushion to rotate along the base.

Intelligent sofa according to claim 1, characterized in that the back cushion has an upper part provided with a cushion, the cushion having two ends connected to sides of the back cushion via corresponding rotating elements, and two rotating element having other ends which are connected to each other via a rotatable shaft located in the back cushion, the rotatable shaft being connected to the drive set; and when the back cushion rotates along the base, the drive set drives the rotary shaft to rotate in accordance with the instruction of the control module to rotate the cushion to the surface of the back cushion via the rotating elements.

An intelligent sofa according to claim 1, characterized by comprising four wheels and a locking mechanism coupled to the wheels, wherein each two of the wheels are placed on a bottom portion of the same handrail, the wheels being connected to the drive set, wherein the locking mechanism is connected to the control module for locking the wheels.

An intelligent sofa according to claim 1, characterized in that the interior of the base is provided with a support plate parallel to the surface of the base; a support column is provided in the back cushion, the support column being connected to the support plate via the expansion joint, so that the back cushion is connected at an angle to the base via the support plate, the expansion joint and the support column or the surface of the back cushion being on the same level as the surface of the pedestal.

An intelligent sofa according to claim 5, characterized in that a first heating mechanism is provided in the base that is placed on a bottom portion of the seat cushion for heating the seat cushion; a second heating mechanism is provided in the back cushion for heating the surface of the back cushion, the first heating mechanism and the second heating mechanism being connected to the control module.

The intelligent sofa according to claim 1, characterized in that the back cushion has a bottom side on which the second distance sensor is provided, provided with an auxiliary bracket connected to the back portion of the back cushion via a connecting shaft, the connecting rod being connected to the drive assembly, whereby the auxiliary bracket is controlled to rotate along the connecting axis.
